Trump Reiterates Epstein Case Is ‘Hoax’ Run By ‘Worst Scum On Earth’

President Donald Trump reiterated his earlier statements concerning the Jeffrey Epstein case, labeling it a “hoax” orchestrated by “the worst scum on earth.”

Trump expressed these views during his visit to Scotland, where he engaged with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and other European leaders prior to announcing a new series of trade agreements with the European Union.

In response to further inquiries about Epstein, Trump suggested that fabricated ‘evidence’ might have been introduced, similar to how officials from the Obama administration allegedly planted evidence of “Russian collusion” through the fabricated “Steele Dossier,” which was partially funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

“The entire situation is a hoax. They managed the files. I was competing against someone who managed the files. If they had any substantial evidence, they would have disclosed it,” he stated, adding: “Those files were managed by the worst scum on earth.”

As the media’s renewed focus on the late Jeffrey Epstein grows, a recent report from the Washington Post indicates that there is “no public evidence of any misconduct on [President Donald] Trump’s part.”

Nevertheless, speculation from lawmakers and media figures has persisted, dominating recent headlines and raising questions about who was genuinely linked to Epstein, the affluent financier and convicted sex offender who passed away in a Manhattan jail in 2019.

The situation took a new direction earlier this month when Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Justice Department announced the conclusion of its review of the Epstein case, stating that there were “no further documents to release.”

The memo also confirmed that Epstein’s death in 2019 was ruled a suicide, dismissing ongoing conspiracy theories that he was murdered to shield influential individuals.

Despite this determination, some supporters of Trump remain doubtful, continuing to believe that the former president was on the verge of revealing a powerful network allegedly involved in child abuse and trafficking.

Despite the fact that the Epstein scandal has persisted for almost two decades, recent media attention has rekindled public fascination by highlighting Epstein’s previous social connections with Donald Trump. It is well-established that the two were acquaintances during the early 2000s, with Trump being the first notable individual to sever ties with Epstein—years prior to Epstein’s arrest in 2006.

An investigation by The Washington Post uncovered no credible evidence linking Trump to any illegal activities associated with Epstein or his trafficking network. These findings are consistent with Trump’s assertions that he “had a falling out” with Epstein and “was not a fan.”

As early as 2019, Trump claimed that he had prohibited Epstein from visiting Mar-a-Lago after becoming aware of purportedly inappropriate conduct—well in advance of Epstein’s arrest.

Although Trump’s name reportedly appears in some of the Justice Department documents that have been recently examined—something that would be anticipated given their historical social relationship—The Washington Post verified that no accusations of criminal behavior have been directed at him in any official context.

In the meantime, Trump has taken a proactive stance by authorizing the Justice Department’s examination of the Epstein case.

He also consented to a request to unseal grand jury testimony related to Epstein—a request that was ultimately rejected by a federal judge.

Concurrently, Congress has intensified its efforts to acquire documents pertaining to Epstein. In a bipartisan vote last week, a House subcommittee mandated the Justice Department to release thousands of pages of records associated with Epstein and his affiliates.

Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., who leads the subcommittee, forecasted that “by September, the president will undoubtedly have provided everything.”
