In light of the recent release of newly uncovered images and video footage that shed further light on his association with Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump declined to provide a comment, issuing a straightforward six-word statement.
During his latest presidential campaign, Trump asserted that if he were to be elected, he would have “no problem” with revealing documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The release of what Attorney General Pamela Bondi referred to as the ‘first phase’ of declassified Epstein files in February 2025 partially fulfilled the president’s commitment; however, by July, Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) declared that it had found ‘no basis’ for releasing any additional files.
Moreover, in its announcement earlier this month, the DOJ indicated that it had found “no incriminating ‘client list.’”
The choice not to disclose further files led to speculation among some members of the public that Trump was ‘concealing’ information regarding Epstein, a notion that the president exacerbated when he was asked about it by a reporter and replied, “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.”
When questioned about photographs taken in 1993, Trump sought to quell the conversation regarding his interactions with the disgraced financier once again, yet he has since revealed intentions to release grand jury files related to Epstein.
For the first time, the media, as uncovered by CNN’s KFile, confirms Epstein’s attendance at Trump’s second wedding—his 1993 marriage to Marla Maples.
During a Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York in 1999, footage appears to show Trump and Epstein engaging in conversation and sharing jokes.
Having first met the financial advisor when he photographed Trump and Epstein at the Harley Davidson Cafe in New York in October 1993, Dafydd Jones, the photographer from Trump’s 1993 wedding, stated to CNN that he ‘must have recognized’ Epstein at Trump’s wedding.
“I now regret not having taken more photographs of him with Trump,” he stated in a recent interview. “I was responsible for capturing images at the Trump wedding, so I positioned myself with the press and took pictures of him. The photograph you possess is from the contact sheet – the negatives have been lost.”
When approached for a comment regarding the wedding photographs, Trump labeled CNN as ‘fake news’ and responded with a succinct six-word reply, stating, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
In a more detailed statement, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung remarked: “These are merely out-of-context frame grabs from harmless videos and images of widely attended events, used to disgustingly suggest something sinister.”
“The reality is that the President expelled him from his club for inappropriate behavior. This is simply a continuation of the fabricated news narratives created by the Democrats and the liberal media.”
Since the 1980s, Trump and Epstein have shared a relationship and are recognized for attending numerous social events together. Reports indicate that the pair experienced a falling out over a prominent real estate deal in Palm Beach during the mid-2000s.
