New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez encountered unexpected backlash during a recent town hall meeting, where she faced angry constituents. The attendees criticized her decision to approve funding for Ukraine, expressing their belief that this action brings the United States closer to the brink of nuclear conflict.
“None of this matters unless there’s a nuclear war, which you voted to send arms and weapons to Ukraine,” one protester stated on Wednesday. “You campaigned as an outsider, yet you have been voting to initiate this war in Ukraine. Gabbard, who has recently expressed criticism towards the party, has reached her limit regarding the “wokeness” and “warmongers” within it, labeling it an “elitist cabal.”
